Stud cutters are tools that are used for the cutting of metal stud frames, but can also be used for other purposes such as cutting threaded rods. The stud cutters we stock typically cut threaded rods of varying thread sizes. This is usually from around M6 to M10, although please check the product specification of the tool before purchase as some stud cutters will only cut certain sized threaded rods. An rod with an M6 thread is approximately 6mm in diameter, and a rod with an M10 thread is approximately 10mm in diameter.
